2005 COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARDS

OTTAWA – Douvris Martial Arts & Fitness Centers (DMAFC) is pleased to announce its first annual Community Spirit Awards. These awards recognize the volunteer efforts of Douvris’ children and youth members in support of their community involvement throughout the year. Douvris recognizes three distinct award categories: Category One: Members age 4 to 7; Category Two: Members age 8 to 12; Category Three: Members age 13-17.
Members from the Bank Street and Kanata school locations will be honoured on November 26 at 1525 Bank Street at the Local Heroes Restaurant commencing at 4:00 p.m.

John and Peter Douvris founded DMAFC in 1984. The Centers offer a variety of programs and services for individuals of all age groups including Karate, Cardio Kickboxing, Athletic Conditioning, Community Spirit and the Leadership Programs.
