About us
Douvris Riverside South is Ottawa's only kids-only karate school, offering Tykes and Kids karate classes for ages 4–12 along with the Douvris Leadership Program. Run by Sensei Domenic Aversa — a 15-time individual World Championship gold medalist and WKC Hall of Famer — and Sensei Fortunato Aversa — Canada's first welterweight point sparring World Champion — this dojo delivers elite-level instruction in an environment built entirely around kids. Every class is designed to develop discipline, confidence, and character in a safe, focused, and fun setting.
